Who am I
I’m a paid and full-time (read: professional) photographer, specializing in weddings, family portraits, architecture, and glamour commercial photography as well. I’m Balinese and currently live in Bali – ofcourse
I am an autodidact, self learner. I started my photography business in 2004 with architecture (interior and exterior) photography field as the my main photography field while learning the other fields of photography – I do really interesting with art photography.
Objection
My objection in wedding photography is to get as many moments for the bride and groom to remember as possible. Since the wedding day goes by so fast, wedding photography is so important to help couples and their families remember all the little details which they might have noticed but might not always recall. That is why I will work with one or two more candid photographers as my teamwork.
We do a combination of Photojournalistic Wedding Photography, Traditional/Formal Wedding Photography, Artistic /Glamour Wedding Photography and Fun /Creative Wedding Photography.
Philosophy
The heart of my wedding photography is the people, and the honest interactions I can catch. Years in the future, I want people to look at my photos and really feel like they know something about the subjects – not just how they looked like, but what they were like.
At weddings, aside from any traditional formal shots you may request, I do not pose you or your guests but simply allow everyone to enjoy themselves. When you look at the pictures of your wedding, you will see the fun you had, not the forced smiles you may see in the work of other photographers.
I love working with people who are a little bit nervous about having their pictures taken – if you are camera shy, think you are not photogenic, or just remember how boring the portraits at other weddings were, I can’t wait to change your mind! I think photography should be fun, memorable, and beautiful – not intimidating and stiff.
